Information
Bytom is an open-source value-exchange protocol based on blockchain. Its goal is to tokenize real-world assets, including warrants, securities, dividends, and bonds. By utilizing the Bytom blockchain, users can create unlimited assets and allow them to circulate freely.
Apart from the Bytom blockchain, Bytom has also developed various products. These include a DeFi protocol called MOV, an open cross-chain gateway called OFMF (Open Federation Management Framework), an enterprise blockchain called Bystack, a BBFT + DPoS high-speed sidechain called Vapor, a data service provider named Blockmeta, a mobile wallet called Bycoin, and a Chrome extension wallet called Byone.
MOV, Bytom's DeFi protocol, consists of a trading protocol and an Asset Lending protocol. It leverages layer 2 sidechain technology to support a wide range of financial products. MOV is dedicated to continuous improvement.

What is the purpose of Bytom Blockchain Protocol?
Bytom Blockchain Protocol is a dedicated public chain platform for the asset field. Its most important function is to connect the atomic world and the bit world, and promote the interaction and circulation of assets between the two worlds. It allows for the registration, exchange, gambling, and contract-based interaction of different forms of heterogeneous bit assets (native digital currency, digital assets) and atomic assets (warrants, equity, dividends, bonds, information with counterparts in the traditional physical world) running on Bytom.
The solution provided by Bytom 1.0 involves the main chain adopting PoW for asset issuance, and the side chain adopting PoS for transaction efficiency. However, this creates a heavy economic burden on the BTM ecology, with 80 million BTM paid to main chain miners and 10 million BTM to the side chain nodes each year.
To address this, Bytom 2.0 proposes the architectural concept of combining the "one main side and one side chain" into a unified platform. This integration aims to optimize asset flow efficiency, connect the bit world and the atomic world, and better serve the vision of "putting assets on-chain". Additionally, Bytom 2.0 plans to integrate a multi-asset DeFi protocol onto the unified platform.
