The DeXe token (DEXE) enables an open and permissionless system. Participants follow protocol rules and contribute resources to facilitate consensus. The token has two main functions:

1. It automatically buys back and distributes tokens among insurance vaults, rewards token holders through farming, and burns tokens for a percentage of traders' rewards.

2. It allows participation in DeXe DAO. While it is not necessary to be a DEXE token holder to benefit from DeXe.network's social trading functions, becoming a member of the DAO requires acquiring DEXE. DeXe also uploads the DEXE smart contract to the open-source community, aligning with its commitment to free speech and open sharing.
