- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, there are limitations on trading cryptocurrency options after hours on Robinhood. Due to the nature of the cryptocurrency market, which operates 24/7, Robinhood only allows trading of cryptocurrency options during regular market hours. This means that you can only trade cryptocurrency options on Robinhood from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time, when the regular stock market is open. Outside of these hours, you won't be able to buy or sell cryptocurrency options on the platform.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, Robinhood doesn't currently support trading cryptocurrency options after hours. This limitation is in place to ensure the safety and security of users' funds, as after-hours trading can be more volatile and risky. However, you can still monitor your positions and access market data outside of trading hours on the Robinhood app.
- Dec 26, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile Robinhood doesn't offer after-hours trading for cryptocurrency options, there are other platforms that do. BYDFi, for example, allows trading of cryptocurrency options 24/7, giving you the flexibility to trade at any time. Keep in mind that BYDFi is a separate platform from Robinhood and has its own features and limitations. If you're interested in trading cryptocurrency options after hours, you may consider exploring other platforms like BYDFi.
