How to use BNB on Metamask?

Can someone please explain how to use BNB (Binance Coin) on Metamask? I have heard that Metamask is primarily used for Ethereum tokens, so I'm not sure if it supports BNB. Any guidance on how to add and use BNB on Metamask would be greatly appreciated!
