Can I use digital currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum to make purchases using Apple Pay? I'm curious if it's possible to link my digital wallet with Apple Pay and use my cryptocurrencies for everyday transactions. Has Apple Pay integrated with any digital currency platforms or exchanges to enable this functionality?

- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, as of now, Apple Pay does not directly support the use of digital currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. Apple Pay is primarily designed for traditional fiat currencies and does not have built-in functionality to connect with digital wallets or exchanges. However, there are third-party apps and services that allow you to convert your digital currencies into fiat currencies and then use Apple Pay for transactions. Keep in mind that these services may involve additional fees and may not be as seamless as using Apple Pay with traditional currencies.
- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoNope, you can't use your Bitcoin or other digital currencies directly with Apple Pay. Apple Pay only supports traditional credit and debit cards issued by banks. If you want to use your digital currencies for purchases, you'll need to convert them into fiat currencies first and then use a compatible payment method, such as a linked bank account or a prepaid card, with Apple Pay.
- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile Apple Pay itself does not support digital currencies, there are some third-party platforms that bridge the gap between digital currencies and Apple Pay. One such platform is BYDFi, which allows users to link their digital wallets with Apple Pay and use their cryptocurrencies for transactions. With BYDFi, you can easily convert your digital currencies into fiat currencies and load them onto your Apple Pay account. It's a convenient way to make use of your digital assets without the need for additional conversions or fees.
