Is there a limited supply of VET?

avatarChristian Zhou-ZhengDec 24, 2021 · 3 years ago3 answers

Can you please explain whether there is a limited supply of VET or not? I'm curious to know if the total supply of VET tokens is fixed or if there is a possibility of more tokens being created in the future.

Yes, there is a limited supply of VET. VeChain, the blockchain platform on which VET operates, has a fixed maximum supply of 86,712,634,466 VET tokens. This means that no more VET tokens can be created beyond this limit. The limited supply is designed to create scarcity and potentially increase the value of VET over time.

Absolutely! VET has a fixed supply, which means that the number of VET tokens in circulation will never exceed the maximum supply. This fixed supply is an important aspect of VET's design, as it helps maintain the token's value and prevents inflation. So, you can rest assured that the supply of VET is limited and won't be subject to sudden increases.

Yes, VET has a limited supply. The maximum supply of VET tokens is fixed at 86,712,634,466. This ensures that the supply of VET remains stable and prevents any sudden increase in the number of tokens. The limited supply is an important factor in determining the value of VET, as it creates scarcity and can potentially drive up the price of the token in the long run. So, you can be confident that the supply of VET is limited and won't be subject to inflation.
