- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, on BitMEX, you can only trade LTC with XBT (Bitcoin) and not directly with USD. BitMEX is a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange that primarily uses Bitcoin as the base currency for trading. This means that all trading pairs on BitMEX are quoted in Bitcoin (XBT). If you want to trade LTC with USD, you may need to consider using other exchanges that offer LTC/USD trading pairs.

- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, you can trade LTC with USD on BitMEX, but not directly. BitMEX offers a feature called BYDFi, which allows you to convert your XBT to USD within the platform. With BYDFi, you can easily switch from XBT to USD and then trade LTC with USD. It's a convenient way to trade LTC with USD without the need to transfer funds to another exchange. Just keep in mind that BYDFi is a third-party service integrated into BitMEX, so you may need to go through a verification process to use it.
- Dec 24, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile BitMEX doesn't support direct LTC/USD trading, you can still achieve a similar result by using a two-step process. First, you can trade LTC for XBT on BitMEX, and then transfer the XBT to another exchange that offers LTC/USD trading pairs. This way, you can effectively switch from XBT to USD when trading LTC. Keep in mind that this process involves additional steps and may incur additional fees for the transfer.
