I'm an active trader on BitMEX, but sometimes I feel the need to take a break from trading. Is there a way to temporarily pause or disable my trading activities on BitMEX?

- Dec 28, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, you can take a break from trading on BitMEX by disabling your account temporarily. To do this, log in to your BitMEX account, go to the Account tab, and select the 'Disable Account' option. This will prevent you from placing new trades or making any changes to your existing positions. Keep in mind that disabling your account will not close any open positions or cancel any pending orders. Once you're ready to resume trading, simply log in again and enable your account.

Just log in to your BitMEX account, navigate to the Account tab, and choose the 'Disable Account' option. This will prevent you from making any new trades or modifications to your existing positions. Remember that disabling your account won't affect your open positions or pending orders. When you're ready to get back into trading, log in again and enable your account.

However, if you're looking for a more long-term break, you may want to consider setting up stop-loss orders or reducing your position sizes instead.
