- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoOne possible reason why Coinbase is not authorizing your card could be that your card issuer is blocking the transaction. Some banks have restrictions on cryptocurrency purchases and may decline the transaction for security reasons. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try contacting your card issuer and ask if they have any restrictions on cryptocurrency purchases. They may be able to lift the block or provide you with an alternative solution. Additionally, you can try using a different card or payment method to see if the issue persists. If none of these solutions work, you can reach out to Coinbase's customer support for further assistance.
- Dec 27, 2021 · 3 years agoI had a similar issue with Coinbase not authorizing my card in the past. One thing that helped me was ensuring that my card details were entered correctly. Double-check the card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address to make sure they are accurate. Sometimes a small typo can cause the authorization to fail. If everything seems correct, you can try clearing your browser cache and cookies or using a different browser to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, it's best to reach out to Coinbase's support team for personalized assistance.

One thing you can try is contacting Coinbase's customer support and providing them with the details of the issue. They may be able to manually authorize your card or provide you with further instructions on how to troubleshoot the problem. Keep in mind that Coinbase is a reputable exchange and they have a dedicated support team to assist users with any issues they may encounter. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for help.
