- Jan 01, 2022 · 3 years agoThe maximum supply of ADA, the native cryptocurrency of the Cardano blockchain, is 45 billion coins. This maximum supply was determined during the initial token distribution and will never change. As of now, there are already over 31 billion ADA coins in circulation, with the remaining coins being gradually released through the Cardano network's proof-of-stake mechanism. So, there is still a significant amount of ADA to be minted in the future.
- Jan 01, 2022 · 3 years agoADA has a maximum supply of 45 billion coins. This means that once all the coins are minted, there will never be more than 45 billion ADA in existence. Currently, there are over 31 billion ADA coins in circulation, and the remaining coins will be gradually released over time. This limited supply helps to maintain the scarcity and value of ADA in the market.
- Jan 01, 2022 · 3 years agoAccording to the Cardano whitepaper, the maximum supply of ADA is set at 45 billion coins. This decision was made to ensure a fair distribution of the cryptocurrency and prevent inflation. As of now, there are already over 31 billion ADA coins in circulation, and the remaining coins will be minted through the Cardano network's proof-of-stake consensus algorithm. It's important to note that the maximum supply will never change, making ADA a deflationary cryptocurrency.
