- Dec 25, 2021 · 3 years agoThe initial price of bitcoins when they were first introduced was essentially zero. In 2009, when Bitcoin was launched by an anonymous person or group known as Satoshi Nakamoto, it had no established value. It took some time for people to recognize its potential and start trading it for real-world goods and services. So, technically, you could say that the initial price of bitcoins was nothing.
- Dec 25, 2021 · 3 years agoWhen bitcoins were first introduced, they didn't have a fixed price. Since there was no established market for them, their value was determined by the few individuals who were interested in trading them. It wasn't until the first Bitcoin exchange, BitcoinMarket.com, was established in March 2010 that bitcoins started to have a more consistent price. So, in the early days, the price of bitcoins was highly volatile and subject to individual negotiations.
- Dec 25, 2021 · 3 years agoAccording to historical data, the initial price of bitcoins when they were first introduced was extremely low. In fact, the first recorded transaction involving bitcoins was in May 2010 when a user bought two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins. At that time, the value of 10,000 bitcoins was around $25. So, you could say that the initial price of bitcoins was less than a cent per coin. It's incredible to think how much the value of bitcoins has grown since then.
