- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoThe initial value of bitcoin when it was first introduced was essentially zero. In 2009, when the first block of the Bitcoin blockchain, known as the Genesis Block, was mined by its creator Satoshi Nakamoto, there was no established value for bitcoin. It took some time for people to recognize its potential and start assigning value to it.
- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoBack in the early days of bitcoin, you could say it was practically worthless. It wasn't until a few years later that it started gaining attention and value. So, to answer your question, the initial value of bitcoin was close to nothing.
- Dec 30, 2021 · 3 years agoWhen bitcoin was first introduced, it had no inherent value. It was just a concept, an idea. It wasn't until people started using it and recognizing its potential that it started to gain value. Today, bitcoin is worth thousands of dollars, but back then, it was worth next to nothing.
