When it comes to mining cryptocurrencies, the i7 7700k is generally considered to be the better option. Its higher core count and thread count allow for better multitasking and handling multiple mining processes simultaneously. Additionally, the i7 7700k has a higher clock speed, which can result in faster mining performance. Overall, if you're looking to maximize your mining efficiency, the i7 7700k is the way to go.

Both the i5 7600k and the i7 7700k are capable processors for mining cryptocurrencies. However, the i7 7700k offers better performance due to its higher core count and thread count. This allows for more efficient mining, especially when running multiple mining processes at the same time. If you're serious about mining and want to get the most out of your rig, I would recommend going with the i7 7700k.
